Katie (Katherine) Simonetti and her husband Alex (Alexander) Tolini run Katherine Alexander Fine Jewelry. It is a collaboration and labor of love. Katie is the designer, bench jeweler and founder and Alex makes sure things run smoothly.

  Katie Simonetti is the founder, designer and jeweler of Katherine Alexander Fine Jewelry. She was traditionally trained at the North Bennet Street School in Boston, not far from where she grew up.  Katie is a bench jeweler who went on a decade long adventure in the auction world. There she was lucky enough to work with some fabulous antique, vintage and simply outstanding jewelry. Those experiences led to a deeper knowledge and appreciation for jewelry.

  But the drive to make jewelry was constantly pulling her back to the bench. She took the leap in 2022, founding KAFJ and following her dream.

  Katie is endlessly inspired by ancient, antique and vintage jewelry styles. Makers such as David Webb, Elsa Peretti and Susanne Belperron are some of her design idols- their combinations of form, color and textures are the epitome of jewelry perfection.

For Katie, the craft of jewelry making is the most fulfilling combination of imagination and skill.
